What are anonymized IP addresses?

The Anonymize IP addresses feature in MyCludo prevents the storage of IP addresses. Cludo replaces the last three IP digits with zeros to anonymize the IP address. The replacement happens instantly every time an event is registered, and Cludo does not store the original IP address. This setting works retroactively, meaning that IP addresses collected before enabling this setting will also be anonymized.

This setting is useful when you do not require IP address-based search filtering. Enabling this feature disables IP filtering and Disallowed Analytics, but does not impact the collection of device data and geo-location data.

To learn how to use this feature, go to How to anonymize collected IP addresses.
