Search Destination Pages
Search destination pages display the URLs where visitors landed after performing a search within your site during the selected period. This feature provides valuable insights into user behavior by showing the most visited pages your users considered relevant or useful after performing a search.
By analyzing search destination pages, you can understand which content resonates most with your users and identify potential gaps in your site structure or content. This helps optimize the user journey and ensures your search functionality is driving traffic to the most relevant pages.
The following actions are included in Search origin pages,
- Select period – The time frame can be customized by clicking on the button located in the top left corner of the displayed table. This field can be changed to several fixed available values or customized to your needs.
- Apply filters – This tool is made available by clicking on the button Filters located in the right top corner. For more information on this, visit our article on How to filter analytics.
The numerical value of Unique clicks represents the number of users that has clicked the result during a session.
The number under Change indicates whether the searches for a particular term have increased, decreased, or remained the same compared to the previous period selected by the user. This helps identify trends and shifts in user interest over time.
You can export the data of these Search origin pages into a CSV document by clicking on the file icon located beside the search bar. This will download a CSV file with the data displayed in the table. Consider the selected time period and whether you want to narrow down the search terms to searches containing a specific search term.
