How does the “did you mean” feature work?
When a search only returns a few results, the search engine may also suggest other search terms for the visitors to use.
See the table below for details on which actions happen depending on the number of results.
| Number of results | Event |

| 0 | The search engine will automatically correct the term to a similar term if one exists within the indexed content (read more). |
| 1-9 | The search engine will show results for the searched term and suggest searching for a similar search if one exists within the index. This is when the visitor would see the “Did you mean…” text. |
| 10+ | The search engine will only display results for the searched term. |
